Chatsworth, CA – Pipedream Products is proud to be hosting the first of its kind meeting of the western division of AASECT to be held at an adult products showroom on November 13, 2009. The organization, the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists, is the preeminent organization for professionals in the field of sex therapy and sexual education.
Hosted by Kim Airs, resident Sexpert and member of AASECT, the members will get hands-on knowledge of the thousands of products in the Pipedream line. “What better way to introduce these practitioners to the world of adult products than to show them our entire line?” she stated. “Many times, therapists will recommend a sex toy but have no idea of what type to suggest to their clients. By showing these practitioners the actual products, they will be better suited to suggest items for ED, FSD, and, using our Fetish Fantasy Series, be able to open the door to their clients to live their fantasies.”
The program, which attendees will receive continuing education units (CEUs) for their participation, will also be lead by Dr. Stephanie Buehler, AASECT’s western regional director and founder of The Buehler Institute in Orange County. Dr. Buehler, a psychologist & sex therapist, noted “We’re excited to offer this learning opportunity to the members of AASECT. By having this presentation in the showroom of one of our members will only increase our knowledge of this industry which many of us work with on a daily basis.”
